My name is Balazs SARA, I am an environmental expert in methods and tools applying life cycle approach. In the last >25 years I have worked in various industry sectors and product categories having supported large multinational companies, small- and medium sized enterprises, institutes and universities in their life cycle assessment (LCA), environmental product declaration (EPD), carbon footprint of products (CFP), life cycle costing (LCC) or ecodesign activities. I work also as an EPD, CFP and LCA-Tool verifier on behalf of ICMQ SpA and as an expert evaluator and reviewer of the European Commission.
Since 2018 I have been offering my consulting and training services as an independent life cycle specialist, while previously I worked in professional teams with international reputation: I was technical director of the Italian-Hungarian subsidiary of PE International consulting company (currently Sphera); trainer and representative of the GaBi databases and software systems; founder and manager of the FEBE Ecologic consulting firm; collaborator at ENEA research institute and Bologna University.
