The most magical way of knowledge dissemination is the live performance of stories and tales in a commonly shared area. Our plays are based on the expressive force of tales, poetry, puppets and live acting and can be performed in different conditions, such as family homes, parties, cultural centres, kindergartens, schools, libraries, festivals, public or corporate events. A description of our current repertoire can be found below and you can visit also our related gallery.
The white seal

This tale written by Rudyard Kipling story is a part of the famous Jungle Book. The hero of the story is a white seal who understands the horror of seal hunting and starts to travel in all over the world to find an island where no man lives. During the tale we involve childen and adults to display the sea, the seals and other creatures of the oceans together by using puppets and live performance.
While the story is developing we have a chance to wonder about the different places, seas and animals of the Earth. As the white seal is different from his mates we can talk about personal and common responsabilities in an extended manner. Environmentally consciuos thinking and related, seamingly „tough” topics are handled in a relatively easy and „consumable” way while Kipling’s wondeful tale creates a magical environment.
Little Red Riding Hood and other forest tales

We collected some well-known forest tales and stories for this play. Many generations of our community have grown up with these tales, so these are already well-tested, successful plays. Our idea was to preserve and to rethink this tradition when we decided to prepare our show. We wanted to present these dear stories with a new approach offering still more fun, laugh and involvement. In the currently running play we tell stories about a duck ranging through the forest wanting to be a singer bird; a porcupine challenging a rabbit in running competition and a strange wolf meeting accidentally Little Red Riding Hood and finding himself in the middle of the famous tale.
The play can be transform into an event of puppet theatre in education. The forest as a place of all the stories offers the opportunity to talk about biological diversity. On the other hand, diversity on an everyday level is treated through the stories and their conclusions: the duck will surely not become a singer bird but through his adventure he understands his true capacities and ends to be proud of them. Instead the rabbit, who ignores everyone less quick in running, needs to accept and appreciate the alternative qualities of others. Before, during and after the tales we discuss and sing with the public and make them think about the stories and themes presented.
Pinocchio

This dynamic and entertaining show was first presented in 2001. Since then it has been a success and in 2016 an extended version was prepared where the audience could follow all the most important adventures of Pinocchio. We can meet Geppetto, the Cricket, the company of Fire Eater theatre director, the Fox and the Cat, the Fairy, Lucignolo and many others, all these personalities who build up the magical world of this tale where the small puppet is carried through unimaginable events… The story of Pinocchio is a masterpiece of human fantasy which we present with a lot of puppets, live acting and beautiful Italian music.
The play can be extended with an interactive introduction and mini-training about the Italian language and culture. After the play we can discuss the different adventures of Pinocchio with the public by analysing and elaborating the stories together and the creatures involved.
The play was written based on Carlo Collodi’s novel.
The birth of Jesus

This wonderful, ancient story is one of the main pillars of our European culture. We follow the famous travel f Mary and Joseph to Bethlehem where Jesus was born. During the puppet play we meet Herode and of course the shepherds and the three kings. The show actively involves the audience, children and adults, by encouraging them to move the puppets, to tell the story together and to sing the well-known Christmas songs. It is an „obligatory” play in December but we are happy to present it anytime during the year as such common play is always a big fun and experience. The Master of the show is Ildikó Komeiner, she also wrote the play based on the gospels. She prepared the puppets and the scenography together with Lászlóné Sára.
